Isabel was birthed at Melbourne Australia. She has a mother who is Swiss and her father is Australian. She lived with her family within Switzerland Melbourne Jabiru, a tiny town in Northern Territory called Cairns and Cairns Australia. Along with her sister Nina she went to schools with First Nations children as well as children from other cultures. Isabel currently lives in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel started acting at the age of 12. In addition to studying drama, she also took classes in Perdekamp Emotional Method at Queensland University of Technology. She never auditioned for parts until she was discovered via her agent back in 2002. The role she played was as Tasha in Home and Away from 1988. They thought she was not suitable to play the part, but they found her impressive enough to develop an entirely new role for Tasha. In the three-year period she worked as a TV actress and model, she won an award called the Logie Award. In 2008 Isabel was moved from New York to Los Angeles. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was the movie in which Isabel made her first big break. Since then, she has been in a variety of US and Australian productions. Additionally, she was awarded several prizes. Recently, Isabel appeared in the an award-winning film Bosh & Rockit (Ocean Boy) which has fast become an Australian iconic and also in the soon-to-be released thriller Lunacy. Isabel has recently completed Sons of Summer. She is currently in the pre-production phase for her role as Marie Curie with award winning filmmaker and writer Annika Glas.
