Anna Sergeyevna Kourinikova is one of the former Russian professional tennis player, is now an American TV personality. Her popularity and appearance has made her one the most well-known tennis players worldwide. Anna Kournikova (Russian) is an ex-professional tennis player. Her name was, at some point the biggest female athlete of the sport. Kournikova did not have a great singles record but had a huge success in doubles. Additionally, she was a highly praised partner with Martina Hingis. Her name was renowned throughout the globe for her attractive looks and modelling jobs. Kournikova was a standard modern baseliner in singles moving her ball across the court in a fast and efficient spin. Her style of play was based on a strong return and deep groundstrokes and she also approached the net whenever she got the chance. Kournikova was both born and was raised within Moscow. Both of her parents are athletes. Her father Sergei Kournikov was wrestler champion, while the mother Alla was a marathon runner. Kournikova began playing tennis when she was of five, and then relocated to Florida in 1991 (at age 10) to study at the Nick Bollettieri Academy. Kournikova's career as a tennis prodigy started when she was just five. At the age of 10 she relocated to Florida, where she was trained by Nick Bollettieri. She is still a well-known name even though she is retired. Kournikova has a long-term relationship to Enrique Iglesias, a global star. The couple has two children twins who were born in 2017. Anna Sergeyevna Kourinovova was born on 7 June 1981 in Moscow, Russian SFSR Soviet Union. She was a former Russian professional tennis player. Her debut was made in professional tennis at the age of 14 becoming the youngest ever player to play and winning at the Fed Cup for Russia. When she was 15, she made it to the U.S. Open, while at 16 she made it to the semifinals of Wimbledon. Her tennis career ended professionally at the age 21, due to back pain.
